Common questions
Does my garden keep growing while the app is closed?
Yes. Crops keep ripening and your bees keep making honey while you're away, up to a limit.
My bees died. Did I lose my farm?
No. If a colony collapses you lose most of the swarm, but your beds, upgrades and HoneyBucks
stay. Keep honey in the pantry to feed a growing hive.
Why are my crops growing slowly?
Check the soil. Tap the soil lens above the garden: beds below 50% soil grow slower.
Planting Sweet Clover nearby, or resting a bed, restores it.
How do I start a new season?
Build the Golden Apiary — all nine beds plus hive and home at level 5 — then open the
Almanac (the trophy button) and begin the next season. You keep every milestone and gain a
permanent harvest bonus.
Is there a way to start completely over?
Yes: Settings (the gear button) → Start a New Garden.
